The festival Mêda + had its first edition in 2010, The main purposes - still urgent today - were to add value and diversity to the cultural dynamics of Mêda and to design the name of the municipality, with a music festival that would be guided by two essential criteria: to support new Portuguese bands and to cover various musical styles, in a unique experience for many of the young people who live in the county and in the region.
