About this festival

MetalGate Czech Death Fest OpenAir is a joint festival project, which originated by a merger of two Czech summer metal festivals - MetalGate OpenAir and Czech Death Fest. Both previously separate projects were very much alike in terms of format as well as of focus primarily on the Czech metal scene, and thus the idea of their union dowright suggested itself. And so it happened.
