About this festival
The Open Air Hamm is an alternative festival that has been taking place since 1970. The festival is held in 67580 Hamm am Rhein / Rheinland Pfalz.
It offers a mixed program of regional and national bands and Djs and a colorful supporting program, consisting of a children's cultural program on Saturday afternoon, the Chill Out tent, a night program from 2-4 clock early and a few changing program points.
The bands on stage usually play Fridays from 6pm to 2pm and Saturdays from 5pm to 2am. The night program features Djs, soundsystems and smaller bands on both days from 2-4am. The children's cultural program always takes place Saturday afternoon between 14 and 18 o'clock and offers play, fun and entertainment for the offspring.
The festival's main square is surrounded by numerous stalls catering for all sorts of things, including arts and crafts.
2 tent sites (one small and one large) offer enough space to stay, also with the camper.
