The Strawberry Spring
The Strawberry Spring

About this festival

On-site car camping is made comfortable in both locations with the inclusion of amenities such as hot showers and access to potable water. Both the Nevada County Fairgrounds and Westside offer scenic camp sites for groups large and small.

While Strawberry provides all that you need for a fun family getaway, these gatherings are so much more than a music festival. The community of folks whose families and camps have grown over three generations time have created a legendary camp jam culture and a special zest for audience participation. Our unique personality is reflected in festival programming such as the Breakfast Club, the Band Scramble, and Hog Ranch Radio. There are many shopping opportunities for the festival goer that include a variety of cuisine in the Food Court. Yet many campers choose to set up elaborate and beautiful sites for the four days that include fully functioning kitchens and decorative camp banners. Whether you are visiting for the day, evening, or settling in for a long weekend, wandering camp to see the sights (of cleverly adorned 4 day dwellings), hear the sounds (magical musical moments occur all day and all night long), and smell the sweet aromas (of delicious camp feasts) is always a highlight of festival life. While your camp may be too comfortable to leave, there are a variety of activities offered daily in addition to the music on Main Stage and more intimate side stages. There are nature, art, movement, and music workshops for the whole family. The Kids Program has activities geared specifically to four separate age groups, including special programming for teens. With lots to do, see, and hear at Strawberry you can have the kind of vacation you want, with plenty of R&R, chalked full of activities, or somewhere in between.
