About this festival
So long as the text tells a story, it does not matter if the music is classical show, pop, jazz, reggae or any other genre.
After almost twenty show festivals, we have a faithful audience who would like to return. But every year, new visitors will also get the magical experience of meeting an artist or music style they have not heard before.
In addition, the festival is held in the special environment at Holmön. Bring your picnic basket or buy food on site. Then strike down in the grass or on the chairs - most thanks, if it's raining now. Holmön is Sweden's sunniest island!
The Vis Festival is perhaps also Sweden's most equal festival - and has a diversity that makes it extra interesting. We always offer a mix of famous and less famous artists, men and women, young and older.
