Fort Festival is an underground electronic music festival held each year in the Spanish coastal town of Tossa de Mar.

Formerly held in the historic hilltop fort overlooking the town, the organisers have taken the decision this year to bring things down to sea level as part of their commitment to sustainability as key repairs are made on the ancient structure.

But what hasn't changed in the commitment to hosting a lineup of house and techno's most respected figures in an intimate environment, with a new stage on the beach and another on the ascent to the top of the historic walled complex – the site of many previous performances including Jan Blomqvist's set for the Cercle mix series recorded at last year's festival
