About this festival

With more than twenty years of experience (it was born in 1993), Barcelona Acció Musical (BAM) is already a reference festival that discovers the emerging talents of dance music, electronics, rock and pop of Catalonia and the world. Marc Campillo, founder and director of the independent record label Foehn Records, orders from 2015 this ship, a BAM that is defined by its desire to explore new sounds and bring the city's most experimental and imaginative artists to the city.

More than 40 groups fill in each edition several scenes of the city with unique, new and original sounds, and always coinciding with the festivities of La Mercè, the city's main festival. A Mercè that brings together every year an extensive program in which there is space for technology and tradition, for music and performing arts and that mobilizes all citizens.
