In 2017 Escapade hit record attendance in its eighth year, solidifying itself as one of the most popular EDM festivals in Canada! Escapade Music Festival is an annual festival that takes place during Canada’s birthday on July 1st, more widely known as Canada Day. Canada Day in the Nation’s Capital Region is the biggest single event during any period in any city across Canada with over three hundred thousand (300,000) people joining the 1.3 million residents of the National Capital Region (NCR) to celebrate in the streets of downtown Ottawa.
