About this festival

Three days of artists, puppets, people and music ... Then the summer starts in Västerås. Since 1992, Västerås City Festival has attracted a wide audience and is ongoing according to tradition the week after Midsummer.
Västerås City Festival is a city festival for the whole of Västerås. It will be characterized by a great hostess where everyone will feel welcome. The festival will have a wide range of activities where we will ensure that all visitors have the opportunity to feel involved.

Västerås City Festival is a major collaborative project, where we work together with the city's cultural life, study associations and various actors to make the festival a wide national festival.
