On the first weekend in July, jazz fans from all over Germany have been meeting since 1981, and in addition to the Eldena Jazz Evenings in the monastery ruin Eldena in Greifswald. In the midst of the symbol of German romanticism, international greats and well-established artists of the German jazz scene are presented, as well as emerging formations from Germany and abroad. Enjoy two evenings with three concerts each in a special atmosphere. "The concert nights begin in the evening sun, which almost magically illuminates the brick-red walls in the concert hall open to the sky" (Heti Brunzel / NDR) and ends shortly before midnight in the middle of the illuminated walls under the night sky.
