The chamber music is mixed with jazz music, visors and other exciting elements. Over the years, the festival has become an important part of the culture of the island.
St. Nicolai ruin in Visby is the main arena but concerts are also held in several of the island's medieval churches and in the Blåse Kalkbruksmuseum.
