North East Chilli Festival is back for its 8th year, showcasing the very best in food, drink and entertainment at Meggies Burn Fields in Blyth, including sets from Newcastle’s very own Northern Funk band Smoove and Turrell as well as a huge line up of acts.

Take a wander around its site and you'll find all kinds of activities to get involved in, from disco, cabaret and comedy to the dedicated kids zone for the little ones. And who could forget its infamous chilli eating competition, of course? Enter at your own peril...
