SHINE Berlin is a trance-centric music festival held in Germany's capital city, the mecca of Europe's dance music culture.

Trance music simply cannot be mentioned without Paul Van Dyk being uttered in the same breath due to his symbiotic affiliation with the genre, so it's no surprise that trance's spokesperson brings the party to his hometown of Berlin for the first time.

The city's Columbiahalle is the most appropriate venue for SHINE Berlin to call home too; Van Dyk shares history with the former military recreation centre, having performed here numerous times over the course of his career even dedicating 2001's 'Columbia' to the imperious hall.

With a support cast including the likes of Aly & Fila, and Alex M.O.R.P.H., SHINE Berlin is primed to send Columbiahalle's 3,500 ravers into an all-night euphoric trance. Time to shine.
