Aarhus Festuge is one of Northern Europe's largest and most respected arts and culture festivals with a program that rhythmically classical music, theater, film, new technology, food, children's culture and architecture and design. The festugen takes place in Aarhus and spans 10 days, traditionally starting the first Friday of week 35.
Many local arts and culture institutions participate in the festival's official program, as are scenes around the city. Festugen also attracts many independent events around the city, which the individual actors themselves organize.
