Funchal Jazz Festival, organised by Funchal City Hall, is held in the open air at Santa Catarina Park.
Some of the most prestigious national and international artists and groups of the jazz world participate in this event, making it a high point in the region’s cultural calendar and which takes over the streets and bars in Funchal, among other activities programmed for the festival.
