With the 38th edition of the Trans Musicales, or shortly named 'Le Trans', coming to an end last Sunday in Rennes - France, you might want to take a peek into the lineup and best received music performances in 2016. This year's festival was held between 30th of November - 4th of December.

As a brief reminder, Le Trans is an international music festival with an amazing history, dating from the late seventies, and has deep roots in experimental music.

Back in the days it started as a student music festival, run by an independent association that wanted to respond the need of representing new talents in the field of experimental music of that time in France and Europe.

Since 1979, it anually promotes less known, talented music artists and bands, that are starting their careers in the music industry.

The artwork for the visual identity of Le Trans 2016 was executed by WAR, a local street art artist from Rennes known for his activist work by depicting wild animals on the city walls.

Coming back to the music artists, here's some fresh pictures and sounds from the most recent Le Trans scene:

TIGGS DA AUTHOR was perhaps the most expected live performance of the music festival. The singer, rapper, composer and producer hailing from London, U.K. had a big time concert. The stage was really crowded and people seemed enthusiastic to see him in action.

Over all, Le trans 2016 was a fairly satisfying experience for the public and, as usual, came up with new band and artists name, that will rock the music industry in the years to come. You will definitely hear more about the names that held the Rennes music festival's stage this year. Meanwhile, have a glimpse of the atmosphere, just one day after the festival finished:
