Out of Africa, The Munich Africa Festival takes place on the Theresienwiese. At the heart of the Africa Festival Munich is the African market, with first-class, exclusive crafts, with musical instruments, clothes and fabrics, jewelery, sculptures and masks, art and everyday objects, books and CDs with traditional and modern African music. Bars and African food, cocktails and drinks provide for the physical well-being of the visitors. In addition, artists from all over Africa come to Germany to make the unique art and culture of Africa, the vitality and the joie de vivre of Africa tangible to the visitors.
