Set amid the the rolling lawns of Ireland’s Stradbally Hall, a beautiful 600-acre estate under an hour from Dublin, the award-winning Electric Picnic is boutique bash that leans towards the all encompassing.

With the likes of Bjork, Fatboy Slim and Arctic Monkeys all headlining in 2013, it’s a festival with musical pedigree, and one that really blossoms with its non-musical entertainment too. From comedy and spoken word to art, theatre and holistic health, Electric Picnic has it all in spades, plus a little touch of magic around the edges.

So if you want a festival that’s got Ferris wheels and fire-blowing stages or an event that’s a foodie’s paradise and a mind, body and soul refresher weekend, look no further. But be warned, you’ll need to be quick because tickets sell out every year.
