Sobre este festival
Open Air Varde, one of Denmark's oldest festivals, started in 1978 as a pure amateur festival, and only one day, and today with 18 cool bands on the concert itself, but also with something for the children and the adults in shape of the Thursday concert and the children's concert on Friday.
Open Air Varde is run on voluntary, unpaid labor, by a bunch of happy amateurs who love to meet and make this beautiful arrangement.
We have 2 scenes, the old and amazingly amazing amphibious scene, and the "new" bøge scene, with a capacity of 5000 guests. In addition, there are plenty of guests just enjoying the music out of the park. We count between 10-12,000 people in the Arnbjerg Park in Varde in week 30.
