Thinking to party this December but don't know where to go? It's true that December is the month of cozy Holidays, but for the commited party people there's still good music festivals to attend to.
Here's a brief list with music festivals suggestions for December 2016 on the European scene:
1. RAVE ON SNOW ( Saalbach, Austria) / 8 - 11 December 2016
The quantity of unique locations, the mix between the Alps rural charm and the vibrant energy of the rave, make Rave on Snow the perfect December option. From the Open Air Stage on the "village square", the "Mountain Peak", a modified underground car park and the "Central Stage" to the cosy Saalbach nightclubs, every location is part of the unequaled RaveOnSnow experience.
The full line-up has over 100 music artists coming to perform, an many more DJ's in the clubs around the festival area. Tickets are between 157€ to 252€, depending on your accomodation, that is included in the ticket's price. You can choose to find accomodation yourself and pay a music festival ticket for the whole week or week-end.
2. RISE Festival ( Les Deux Alpes, FRANCE) / 10 - 17 December 2016
Located in the amazing landscape of the French Alps, RISE is the type of festival that offers more than one week of snow, music and mountains. The annual festival is an active celebration of winter dedicated to many party and amateur winter sports people like you. Plenty of good music and and enthusiastic crowds are the characteristics of the RISE Festival week that’s about come.
Ibiza Rocks the Snow has hitched a ride for this snow and dance music festival in The Two Alps, whose premise is to change the idea that Alpine après-ski has to involve boring events drowned in alcohol at the local pubs.
The Line-up is well balanced and announces different artists and various music genres. You will be able to see live performing Seth Troxler, the house and techno American DJ based in London, KANO the British rapper, DUB PHIZIX with their crazy dubstep beats coming straight from Manchester or the house-pop duo Tony & Robin, amongst others.
The tickets can be purchased via RISE Festival website and include accommodation features, so you don’t have to worry about anything while partying on the top of the world.
3. ED BANGER Festival (Paris, France) / 15 -18 December 2016
This French festival is stylish and crazy, has some very experienced organizers behind - the Perfect Show events label - and a special guest music artist that will make you think how to get there faster. We're talking about DAFT PUNK here, amongst other good names of the line-up, such as CASSIUS, Mr. Oizo and Mr. Flash, Busty P or DJ PONE.
And there's more to be announced soon, according to the organizer's, that will be also booking the famous rock Metallica in Paris next summer, on Stade de France stadium. Back to this December's festival, the location will be the AccorHotels Arena, placed near the city-center.
4. Trans Musicales (Rennes, FRANCE) / 30 November - 4 December
Shortly known by the name ‘Le Trans’ , this festival has a long history, dating from the good old seventies. That doesn’t make it retro or less ‘modern’, on the contrary: the Line-up has an impressive number of young and creative musicians.
You have to be fast in buying tickets for this Festival, as it will happen quite soon, just at the end of the month.
Trans Musicales festival is very much rooted in the experimental music and audience's fine reactions to it. There probably won't be crazy crowds joining the gigs, nor enormous dance floors filled with hundreds of BPM’s, but you will definitely find a sense of trance in listening and sharing this type of music. The incredibly vibrant Breton capital city of Rennes will definitely have its contribution to this kind of musical experience, so if you already planned to visit France this winter, go see Le Trans.
5. Weather Festival, winter 2016 ( Paris, France) /17 - 18 December 2016
