Dear Audiences!
Welcome to the Frederiksværk Music Festival 2018.

We are looking forward to giving you a variety of exciting and thoughtful musical experiences in Gjetuset's concert hall.

As usual, we present both the well-known and the new high-profile names from the international music community. With 122 contributors and 50 composer names on the program, we can offer you another rich and varied season.
In addition to hearing with a part of the festival's regular and highly taxed guests - for example. Marianna Shirinyan, Andreas Brantelid, Lise de la Salle and Trio con Brio - you can experience brand new names such as the young French forward-looking string quartet Van Kuijk Quartet.
At the start of the festival, for the first time in Denmark we meet the young Russian star violinist Alena Baeva, who is full of momentum in an impressive career as a soloist and chamber musician in collaboration with the greatest classical music capabilities.

We are also pleased to present the youth ensemble DUEN directed by Morten Ryelund and with Bjarke Mogensen as soloist in the performance of Anders Koppel's Concert No. 2 for accordedon and orchestra.
