The Rohrer Seefest is Stuttgart's oldest non-commercial free and outdoor open-air festival. Since its inception, it has been organized and organized by the self-governing Jugendclub Rohr e.V. and has meanwhile achieved cult status beyond the city limits. More than 80 volunteers are involved in the preparation and running of the festival year after year, and funding is provided solely through income from the sale of food and beverages. All helpers work without pay and the bands forgo their fees for a good cause. The prize traditionally goes to another social institution each year to support them.
