The Sound of the Forest Festival is always held in August at the Marbach Reservoir in one of the most beautiful regions of this country. It's a small, intimate, cross-genre festival hiding under the treetops of the deep Odenwald. Who knows the Shire of Lord of the Rings, will be able to imagine what it looks like here. Festival grounds, stages, campground and nature merge into a playground for open minded people! On a lake, surrounded by forests and meadows, the visitor dives into another world. The festival program, which presents German and European artists, is also open-minded. The right spirit is the motivation that lets viewers and artists become one.
