Viborg Metal Festival, in daily speech VMF, saw the spotlights first in 2014 when a small bunch of local viborgenser decided that Viborg would have more to offer than traditional cultural offerings.
Over the years, VMF has had the honor of welcoming bands like Dawn of Demise (DK), Father (PL), Infernal War (PL), Morgoth (DE), King of Asgard (SE) Dew Scented (DE), Berserk (DK), Prevail (DK), Unearth (US) and many more.
Viborg Metal Festival's vision is to offer our guests a wide lineup within the metal genre where both upcoming and established bands are on the poster. Just as it has become a bit of a tradition that bands that have not previously played in Denmark are on the VMF poster.
