Presented by Cape York Folk Club Inc., Wallaby Creek Festival is a Celebration of Music & Arts in the rainforest of Cape York. It is a small, family friendly event set in Far North Queensland’s World Heritage Wet Tropics rainforest. The daily program offers music on 3 stages including some of Australia’s well loved festival bands and showcasing artists from the surrounding towns and indigenous communities; breakfast with the poets; workshops; street theatre and a colorful Children’s Festival that is just as inviting for adults! Free camping amongst the lush camp grounds at Home Rule Rainforest Lodge is available with the 3-day festival pass. Food and market stalls are presented to tempt your viewing, tasting and shopping pleasures. The festival, surrounded by mountains and waterfalls and the crystal clear waters of the Wallaby Creek, provides an ideal holiday destination for families.
